Ever wondered what the ‘experts’ say about travel tips? I followed a link from twitter to the Boots blog this evening, thinking it might be interesting. After all, I wrote a whole post about my train travel tips.
In case you can’t be bothered to click on the link, let me share with you some of their “top tips”. Oh, and by the way, did you know that “one of the best things about travelling with a baby is you can avoid the school holidays?” (who knows what you do when you have a baby AND a school aged child).
Under general travel tips, ‘journalist’ Siobhan Harris recommends travelling with another adult and Rosie Dodds, Senior Policy Adviser to the NCT, recommends travelling with a light breastfed baby under 4 months. Of course she does. Got to get that NCT breastfeeding pedaling in. I’m not even sure those are tips; what do you do if you don’t fit that narrow category. Stay at home?
Also, did you know? “Trains can be quite a good means of travelling with a baby”. Rosie from the NCT says: “There are plenty of places to travel to by train in the UK or even to Europe. In some ways it’s easier than plane travel as there are no uncomfortable changes in cabin pressure and fewer delays.” Gosh. Such insight.
