I’m so pleased to share this post because this is a brand I’m really excited to work with. Air & Grace are a brand I’ve admired for a long time and the best thing is you don’t just have to take my word for it: one of you will win a pair of these brogues too!
As comfortable shoes are absolutely essential to a successful conference experience, I’m delighted that Air & Grace and The Little Pip have paired up (pun intended!) for Mumsnet Blogfest on Saturday 12 November. I’ve been to a fair few blogging conferences and one of my key sartorial top tips is to choose your shoes first and build the rest of the outfit around them. And no shoes I’ve worn have been so comfortable as these Air & Grace Lovable brogues. I’m going to be testing out the silver brogues by wearing them all day, from the opening panel “Women online – where to from here?” to the closing awards ceremony and drinks reception, there is plenty to inspire the mind but also quickly tire the feet. I’m going to be tweeting on the day, so if you can’t make it but are interested in hearing discussion on a variety of topics including some interesting high profile speakers, make sure you follow me on Twitter as part of the competition entries below.
All Air & Grace shoes feel fabulous underfoot. They give your feet bounce and your toes wiggle room. Our patent pending Tender Loving Air® technology provides three layers of luxurious memory foam cushioning cleverly hidden, so you can enjoy the feel good factor without compromising on style. Love your shoes and wear them too. Walk on Tender Loving Air®.
I ran into Claire Burrows, the creator and owner of Air & Grace at Stylist Live a couple of weeks ago and over a good chat about the merits of shoes, running a business and trying on lots of shoes cemented my admiration for her business and fell in love with these silver brogues. Like many women, I often find the first time I properly sit down during the day is after the children are in bed, and there can be days when I spend all day walking circles with a buggy and then ferrying Pip around to various classes. Like I wrote earlier this week, I love a good pair of shoes and don’t want to be reduced to wearing trainers the whole time. Step forward these brogues: all the comfort of trainers; all the style of a proper shoe.
They arrived earlier this week and I’ve barely taken them off. I styled them with a Monki denim shirt dress and red lipstick for a rare evening out for a cocktail (the night that my sister’s boyfriend threw her a surprise party when she came home from Iraq and we splashed out on a babysitter) and they looked equally good with my Hush boyfriend jeans and a cashmere sweater at the weekend. I also wore them to a work meeting with a smart but interesting black dress and jacket yesterday and they were perfect for dealing with the commute. Sadly I didn’t manage to get a photo of any of my outfits this week but I will endeavour to take some more photos soon.
For your chance to win your own pair in either silver or tan, please leave me a blog comment telling me which colour you’d prefer, tell me you’ve done so in the widget below and then please share this post on a public forum on either Twitter or Facebook and leave the link below. There are other options for additional entries!
Thanks so much to Air & Grace who gifted me the Lovable Brogues and provided a pair for the giveaway. Whilst Air & Grace and The Little Pip have collaborated for Blogfest, I paid for my own ticket and this is not a paid post.
