Christmas 2016: Gift ideas for your curious playful grabby baby or toddler

Just like the gift guide I prepared with Pip in mind, I hope Father Christmas won’t forget Buster when he delivers the presents to our house later this month, and that he reads this blog… 🙂 Just as long as I find time to make him a stocking like I made Pip, all will be well…

I’ve based this list on things that he enjoys playing with already, a couple of things we have got him already and a couple of wish list items as well as the most beautiful shoes I think I’ve ever seen and couldn’t resist including because little Buster loves his so much. I’ve tried to include links to shops where you can get these wherever you live as well as supporting my favourite local shop too!

1 | Niddle Noddle Hand knitted baby ball Buster makes a grab for these every time we go in to the shop. They are hand knitted especially for Niddle Noddle! 2 | Amy & Ivor sheepskin boots warm, cosy and I think one of the most commented on items of baby clothes I’ve ever bought… 3 | The Nutcracker – My First Ballet stories We give the kids books on Christmas Eve and this is a perfect first Christmas book which is very Christmassy but not at all religious… 4 | Magnatiles expensive but the most amazingly tactile objects – the magnets at the corners allow you to create 2 or 3D structures from the simplest shapes to the super intricate structures. Even the adults get obsessed! 5 | Little Tikes Catch in Lights Tiger Toy {gifted} Perfect for helping baby take their first few steps, Buster loved this 6 | Baby Annabell Little Brother doll Pip is giving this to Buster this year as she finds him to be a little too rough with her version. Little Brother selected for her Little Brother rather than being gender based 🙂 7 | Little Tikes Ocean Explorer Catch Me Crabbie {gifted} makes the most adorable giggle and moves sideways – Buster is entranced by his 8 | Hedgehog Shop Classic wooden sledge because who wouldn’t want one of these… if only we could guarantee some snow!
